TEXT: Psalm 136:1 - 26INTRODUCTION: As the year winds up, churches and different groups all over the world are organizing activities of thanksgiving to express their gratitude to God for His mercies and favour in the outgoing year.

It is good and proper to give God thanks for the gift of Christ and the enabling grace to deliver us from our sins. For appointing us into the ministry, the supply of our needs, as a key to entering His presence and victory over calamities and death, we need to live lives of thanksgiving. God also expects us to appreciate those that have impacted us positively.

May the trials of this world not weaken your zeal and desire to live lives of thanksgiving which shall be ignited in you at the end of this study in Jesus name. Amen.
