OUR YEAR OF BLOSSOMING – 3

TEXT: GENESIS 30:25-43

INTRODUCTION: Within the last two weeks, we have discussed the conditions we need to fulfill in order for us to blossom. We shall be discussing the third part of the series.

We need to identify the resources and gifts that God brings along our paths in order for us to blossom. He never leaves us without helpers. The grace to identify the resources God has placed at our disposal is already available. All that is needed from us is to be sensitive to His Spirit already dwelling in us.

As we depend on His leading, He is sure to lead us to the green pasture. He is able to furnish a table for us even in the wilderness.

Moreover, our appropriate response should be an appreciation for what He has done, is doing and promised to do for us.

From the scriptures below discuss the conditions to be fulfilled in order to blossom:

  1. Appreciate and appropriate the gift of God around you: Gen. 30:27-30; Pro. 18:16;      I Sam. 30:11-19
  2. Seek divine direction: Gen. 26:1-6, 12-14; Gen. 13:6-18; Act 16:6-34
  3. Live a life of thanksgiving:  Jer. 30:19; Jn. 6:5-14;  Jn. 11:39-44

MEMORY VERSE: Gen 26:12

“Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.”
