TEXT: I CORINTHIANS 6:1-8
Last week we studied the role of love in administering discipline in the family and the need to unite to fight the enemy that is behind family discord. Nevertheless, raising a godly family does not necessarily mean there would be no conflicts. How to resolve such conflicts, whenever and however it arises, is the focus of our study today.
The fact that no two human beings are the same (mentally, emotionally and even spiritually), reason for possible conflicts within a family. Sharp behavioral differences exist even between twins. God in His infinite wisdom has also laid down biblical principles to resolve conflicts that may arise within a family in other to maintain and sustain a harmonious relationship that is needed to build a godly family. Some of these conflicts may be complex in nature; while prayer is a powerful tool in handling such challenges, it is also the most affected if such conflicts are not resolved.
